Joan and Don own and operate the Camelot Inn in Elk Rapids, Michigan. It is a 12 unit motel that they love and put their blood sweat and tears into. It keeps them hopping!

Joan and Don married in 1997, in a small ceremony on a balcony on Mackinac Island. The mayor of Mackinac Island did the deed, witnessed by Robin, Lukas, Judy and Don’s parents, who live a few hours away near Traverse City.

Lukas (5/7/83) graduated from Houghton High School in 2002. Robin and Dave and their two children Jenna(12/5/02) and Max(10/28/03) live a short distance away. Robin is currently working a Boyne Highlands Resort and Dave is enjoying being Mr. Mom.
