Hi everyone, It's Ashlee (5/23/86). I am a student of The University of California at Davis. I am set to finish up my undergraduate studies in the fall or winter of 2006, with my BA in Sociology with and emphasis on Comparative studies and World development and my AB in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. I will also hopefully be able to finish up a Spanish Language minor. I am planning to study abroad in Havana, Cuba this summer or fall, on a cultural University of California program. After graduation I am planning on possibly doing some time in the Peace Corps. I would love to do work in Africa, however will probably end up somewhere in the Spanish speaking world because I speak Spanish. Then I will either continue on to pursue my Masters in Sociology or go right on into Law School. Ultimately I would love to teach at a University, but would be very satisfied doing Civil Protection Law for a while first.

Chase Vau(4/19/84) (my significant other and housemate) is also a student of The University of California at Davis, and is set to graduate with his AB in Spanish Linguistics this Fall(2005). After he is through he plans to travel the world and eventually come back to the States to get his teaching credential and Masters in Spanish. He too plans to do some time in the Peace Corps eventually. He ultimately wants to be a high school Spanish teacher/ activist extraordinare!

Taj (the real man… or should I say boy, in my life) is a little one and a half year old Mini-Dachshund. He enjoys long walks through the park and eating dinner right off of your plate. He is the best dog in the world!!!!! He loves bubble baths and cozying up under the covers at night.

The three of us live in a tiny little studio apartment in downtown Davis. Downtown is a beautiful part of Davis complete with little red phone booths, cobblestone pathways and quaint coffee shops on every corner. Campus is a 30 second bike ride away and both of our workplaces are very close. Well I suppose that that is really all that there is to say…I do lead and exciting life. Hehe.
